Even if you don’t use them for your big day, keep them in mind for another event or to refer to friends! Just doing my part to spread some #girlpower around the Austin wedding industry!

1. Second Summer Bride: Y’all this is THE dress shop here in Austin to make all your bridal dreams come true! My friend Natalie is the assistant manager there and will make your shopping experience a breeze and even fun! This dress shop has everything from the latest designers, but also resale, consignment and new with tag dresses! Aka go get yourself a deal and shop here!
The shop is so cute inside you will enjoy your time dress shopping! They even have a ton of gorgeous accessories throughout the store. I love when I show up to a wedding and I see the cute little white dress bag with the second summer rose on it! Bridal appointments are REQUIRED on Fridays & Saturdays. Walk-ins are welcome Tuesday – Thursday, you should call ahead and book your spot, it is first come first serve during these days!

2. Pink Lady Lash: Yep, that’s right, lashes. And no I’m not talking about the strip lashes girls! Sometimes those can look shiny/different on camera because of the band. Did you know that strip lashes can’t contour to the real shape of your eye? Lash extensions get to accentuate each lash, naturally. Shelby and her girls are super skilled and know different techniques to make your lashes look as full or even fuller than a strip lash, while still being safe for the natural lashes. #score If you have ever gotten lashes you know that is is super important to choose a professional that uses quality products and will preserve the integrity of the natural lash so that your naturals will remain healthy underneath. I can give an honest review for Shelby and her team at both locations. Every time I have gotten lashes my real lashes were not damaged, and I just fell in love with my PLL lashes, and you will too!
So, we already know that your lashes and make up will look amazing on your wedding day, but there are even more benefits. You won’t have to worry about mascara running down your face during the ceremony or after the wedding! Because yes, this happens, even with waterproof mascara! They are also super easy for before and after the wedding day. But seriously imagine all the time you will save on your wedding day and the (sorry but it’s true) stressful days leading up to them, not having to do your makeup! Not to mention I do their photography and just love all the vibe/ all the girls there. You will feel loved and at home when at Pink Lady Lash!

3. Texas Wildflours Bakery:
So Leah’s cupcakes, cakes, and cookies are not only super cute and delicious, but she can even make them gluten free, vegan, keto, etc! So, if you are a picky eater or have a food allergy, or even if guest have food allergies, this is dream come true, one stop bake shop! Like I said, I like to make your life easier. A true baking genius!
We met through a venue styled photo shoot and then again at a venue open house. First I got to try her spice sugar cookies, seriously so good, especially since I love a sugar cinnamon/spice anything. Then I tried her mini succulent cupcakes in vanilla and chocolate…even more mouth watering, if that’s even possible.
She believes the best tasting cakes are made with the best ingredients. Texas Wildflours ingredients are organic and locally sourced whenever possible, and always sourced with ethics in mind. They are serious about good ingredients, and make our selections based on quality and sustainability, not cost. Deff check her out!

4. Wedding Officiant Christel Stuart
She will have you laughing, and she will have you crying, but in the best way! I met Christel at a wedding in the middle of no where at a wild ranch out by San Antonio at a wedding, she was the officiant. I loved her speeches and her get it done attitude at that wedding.
Later we reconnected at an open house venue and I learned much more about her. She is hilarious y’all! Recently I have had inquiries for a female officiant, so she is your girl! Serving Austin and the Hill Country. She and her husband run a photography/photo booth company as well! When asked if they will travel for weddings, their answer is always, “Our passports are current! Let’s go!”
Christel is great, and hopefully we get to photograph more weddings together this wedding season. I can tell couples love her. She is super helpful with the guests and helps keeps things light in the midst of the crazy wedding day.

5. Prepped ATX-:
For all your food needs! I have been following my friend Adriana’s food career journey for a while and excited she now has her own catering business! From your rehearsal dinner snacks to the big day apps and of course dinner or even a fun brunch! Adriana does it all! I love watching all her behind the scene food stories on Instagram! Always making my taste buds tingling. Her wedding dinner specialty is a delicious roasted lamb, creamed spinach and hassel back potatoes. She also makes a delightful brunch spread of fresh fruits, waffle bar, and more! All her handcrafted food is made with love and compassion.
