This coming up weekend is filled with a wedding and a few portrait sessions. We are kicking gear into fall and I could not be more excited for some fall weather! Texas ‘fall’ starts in a few weeks, but getting your family portraits scheduled now is highly encouraged! October is only a few days away now! I recently posted on the fb page a countdown to all the holidays and it’s crazy how fast it comes every year!
I love this little hidden gem in SA. I know a lot of people in the city know of it, but lately I have been getting a lot of people who are coming from out of town just to photograph here. I have photographed over 10 surprise proposals here and many weddings and portrait sessions. I wanted to share a few of my favorite photos from a recent session I did here!
So, Meagan found me, we scheduled her portrait session, and she had this location in mind already. They actually got married at the courthouse first, and didn’t want the traditional stale boring light photo session at the courthouse, so we met at Marriage Island for couples portraits, and family photos! I love that she was up to adventure around and take family formals in a different beautiful location. After all the family photos get passed around and passed down for generations, they should be beautiful! We started with the traditional family photos and then walked around the Riverwalk a bit for some intimate bride and groom photos. This day was a very hot humid day, and we still made some magic!
