HELLOOO ATX and visitors!
When you think Texas you think horses in the middle of nowhere, I know, but I swear it’s not like that…all the way! LOL! We have beautiful hill countries, gorgeous sunsets year round, cool swimming holes and lakes, and hip cities like Austin! As you may know, I was born and raised in Austin, Texas and call this city my hometown! It’s all I’ve ever known, I’ve never lived in another state or even city! So you’re getting this blog post written by a true Austinite, or unicorn as they call us 😉 There are many food/drink spots I wish were still around to add to the list of amazing places to go, but that is a result of lots of growth in a big city! Anyways, click through below to check out some unique ATX ideas and places to go for an awesome Austin bachelorette party or weekend getaway!
While you are here with your gal pals, be sure to book a mini portrait session to remember your Texas trip forever! Included in this blog are portraits from my latest ATX Bachelorette girls photo session! These cute girls came all the way from New Jersey and the New England area! They even went out the night before and came downtown at 9 am the next morning for the session. I always say you might not like me in the morning because you have to wake up so early Butttt after shooting/hanging out together and getting the gallery back you will be back in love with me, I swear!
Morning light is my all time fav! Plus when you are in town on vacay, an early start to the day is always nice, in my opinion! Once you’re done with the shoot you will already be dress up looking fabulous, hair and makeup done, and ready to take on the busy Austin streets!
I have compiled up a list of my favorite Austin spots that I think would be awesome for a girls trip here! Now, remember I am born and raised here so it’s not as touristy as other blog post, but it is a more authentic Austin list 🙂 Disclaimer: I am a super picky eater, as is my fiance, so we pretty much eat mexican food, tex-mex, and pizza year round! I asked some friends on the good ol Facebook their input, so it is a more well rounded list!
