About Andrea

About the owner, Andrea has an extensive background in portrait photography, having earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from The Art Institute of Austin in 2013. She studied photography as her major and took many fashion electives. While freelancing fashion and portrait gigs she discovered her love for weddings, engagement sessions and family portraits. 5 years later she created Wild Rose Photo Studio to separate her wedding photography identity. Andrea has a small team of second shooters and assistants that work with her frequently. When Andrea is not photographing/editing a wedding she it out running Town Lake, hiking at the greenbelt, meditating/journaling on her balcony or hanging out with friends and family.

Wild Rose Photo Studio specializes in surprise proposals, engagement portraits, elopements and wedding photography. To put it simply we love, love. To us, weddings are a big party and we can’t wait to produce amazing images that become heirlooms for you and your family! We are looking forward to all of the 2018/2019 weddings!

Andrea and her team would love to learn about your photography needs and wants! And yes, we LOVE to travel! Andrea is constantly traveling weekly to another city nearby, and frequently to California and Colorado to shoot in the magical mountains and on the most beautiful beaches!
